JOYLINK NETWORK TECH LIMITED (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, disclose, retain, delete, and protect information when you use HeritageAI: Ancestry & Origins (the “App”).

HeritageAI provides AI-powered historical entertainment experiences, including AI-generated ancestry stories, historical portraits, ancient civilization exploration, and creative heritage interpretations.

The App does not provide DNA testing, genetic analysis, identity verification, or real ancestry identification services.

All AI-generated results are creative interpretations inspired by historical information and are provided for entertainment purposes only.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the App’s features.

1.1 Photos and Images (Including Facial Visual Information)

When you use AI features, you may choose to upload, capture, or select photos from your device.

These images may contain visual facial information (a conventional photo of a face).

Before an image is sent for AI processing, the App may perform an on-device check using Apple’s Vision framework solely to detect whether a face is present in the selected photo (face rectangle detection). This on-device check helps you choose a suitable photo. It does not create biometric templates, does not identify who you are, and is not used for facial recognition or identity verification.

Photos may be used to provide features including: • AI-generated heritage stories

• Historical portrait generation

• Historical character experiences

• AI-powered creative transformations

We do not collect photos from your device unless you choose to use an AI feature that requires image processing.

1.2 Device and Technical Information

We may process limited technical information, such as: • Device model

• Operating system version

• App version

• Basic diagnostic information

This information is used to maintain app performance, improve reliability, and troubleshoot technical issues.

AI Processing Consent

Before any AI image processing occurs, the App provides a clear notice explaining:

Data being processed:

User-selected photos, which may contain facial visual information.

Processing recipients:

PapilioAI AI Gateway (our request-routing / processing infrastructure) and Replicate (third-party AI processing provider).

Purpose of processing:

To generate AI-created historical portraits, heritage stories, and other requested AI entertainment experiences.

Users must actively choose to continue before images are transmitted for AI processing.

If users do not provide consent, no image will be sent for AI processing.

Users may withdraw AI image-processing consent at any time in Settings → Privacy Choices.

How We Use Information

We use collected information only to provide requested App functionality. This includes: • Creating AI-generated historical portraits

• Generating heritage stories

• Creating historical identity interpretations

• Providing ancient civilization and dynasty experiences

We do not use uploaded images for: • Advertising profiling

• User tracking

• Facial recognition

• Identity verification

• Genetic analysis

• DNA testing

• Training AI models

• Creating biometric profiles or facial templates

Third-Party / AI Processing (PapilioAI AI Gateway and Replicate)

To provide AI generation features, HeritageAI uses processing infrastructure and third-party AI services, including: • PapilioAI AI Gateway — our processing infrastructure used to submit generation requests and return results; and

• Replicate — a third-party AI processing provider that generates the requested output.

When you request an AI feature and provide consent: • Your selected image may be securely transmitted to the PapilioAI AI Gateway and to Replicate for AI processing.

• The image is processed only to provide the requested AI generation service.

We do not authorize third-party providers to use your images for advertising, unrelated purposes, or AI model training.

We require our third-party service providers to provide privacy and security protections that are the same as or equivalent to the protections described in this Privacy Policy.

Third-party service providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws. We take reasonable steps to ensure that third-party providers maintain appropriate safeguards for user information.

Face Data (Facial Information Statement)

5.1 What Face Data We Collect

HeritageAI does not collect standalone biometric face templates, face geometry maps, Face ID data, TrueDepth depth maps, or identity-matching face IDs.

When you voluntarily select or capture a photo for an AI entertainment feature, the App processes that user-selected image, which may contain visual facial information (a conventional photograph of a face).

5.2 On-Device Face Check

On device, we may use Apple’s Vision framework only to detect whether a face is present in the selected photo (face rectangle detection). This check is used only to guide you to choose a suitable image. It does not create biometric templates, does not perform facial recognition, and does not verify your identity.

5.3 How Face Data Is Used

Visual facial information in your selected photo is processed only to generate the AI entertainment result you requested (for example, historical portrait-style creative transformations).

Processing occurs only after you review the AI Image Processing notice and tap Continue.

5.4 What We Do Not Do

We do not: • Perform facial recognition

• Identify individuals

• Determine a user’s real identity

• Create biometric profiles

• Store facial templates

• Extract biometric identifiers for identity matching

• Determine actual ancestry, ethnicity, or genetic background

• Use face/photo data for advertising, tracking, or AI model training

5.5 Sharing of Face Data

To complete your request, the selected photo (which may include facial visual information) may be shared with: • PapilioAI AI Gateway (our processing infrastructure); and

• Replicate (third-party AI processing provider), solely to generate the requested result.

We do not sell, rent, or trade face data. We do not share face data with advertisers for advertising profiling.

Any third-party processing involving facial visual information is subject to privacy and security protections that are the same as or equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy.

5.6 Where Face Data Is Stored

• On your device: Temporary in-memory/session use to display results; optionally local history or saved images if you keep results in the App or save them to your photo library.

• On our systems: Uploaded source photos are handled as transient processing data for the requested generation and are not retained as a permanent photo archive for secondary uses. Our processing infrastructure is hosted on secure cloud servers in Singapore.

5.7 Retention of Face Data

• Source photos on our systems: Retained only as long as needed to complete the requested AI generation and related transient processing, and are automatically deleted or purged within 24 hours after processing completes (or sooner when no longer needed).

• Replicate: Temporary retention according to Replicate’s privacy policy.

• Locally saved results / on-device history: Remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.

5.8 Deletion and Withdrawal

• You may withdraw AI image-processing consent at any time in Settings → Privacy Choices.

• You may request deletion of personal information related to AI image processing by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where applicable, within 30 days.

AI-Generated Heritage Disclaimer

HeritageAI creates AI-generated interpretations inspired by historical knowledge and creative storytelling.

Results may include: • Possible ancestry stories

• Historical character interpretations

• AI-generated portraits

• Civilization and dynasty experiences

These results are fictional interpretations created for entertainment and exploration.

The App does not claim to identify: • Your actual ancestors

• Your real family lineage

• Your genetic background

• Your biological heritage

Data Retention

We follow data minimization principles.

Photos are processed only when you request AI features and after you provide consent.

We do not permanently store uploaded source photos on our own servers for secondary use, advertising, or model training.

Uploaded source photos and related transient processing data on our systems are retained only to complete the requested AI generation and are automatically deleted or purged within 24 hours after processing completes (or sooner if no longer needed).

Temporary processing by Replicate is handled under Replicate’s retention practices: https://replicate.com/privacy

AI-generated results may remain available on your device through the App experience (for example, result screens or local history) until you delete them or uninstall the App.

If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information we control, subject to legal retention requirements, within a reasonable period and, where applicable, within 30 days.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

We may share limited information only when necessary to provide requested services, including: • PapilioAI AI Gateway and Replicate for image generation

• Service providers supporting app operation

• Legal authorities when required by applicable laws

All third-party providers are required to maintain privacy and security protections that are the same as or equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information during processing. These measures may include: • Secure data transmission

• Access controls

• Data minimization practices

However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including: • Accessing your information

• Requesting deletion

• Restricting processing

Children’s Privacy

HeritageAI is not intended for children under 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

The App Privacy information displayed on the App Store is based on our current data practices.

Depending on how you use the App, the following categories of information may be processed:
